Building Control Partnership
Working on behalf of Fareham Borough Council and Gosport Borough Council, the Building Control Partnership provides impartial advice and assistance to the public, agents, architects, builders, developers, and other professionals on matters relating to the Building Regulation, applications and other services. These include dangerous structures inspection and resolution, access advice and control of demolition works.

Information, guidance and advice
Advice and guidance about the applications and appeals process can be found on the Council's website.
The Local Plan sets out the Council's approach to planning applications and decisions. The Core Strategy (Part 1) of the Plan has been adopted, but the Development Sites and Policies Plan (Part 2) and Welborne Plan (Part 3) have not yet been adopted, because they will be subject to a Public Inquiry.
The Council has set out a number of documents that must be included with planning applications, depending upon what the proposals relate to.

A number of trees within the Borough are protected by Tree Preservation Orders. The Council's website provides advice on protected trees.
