Equality Objectives
The Equality Act requires that all councils have at least one objective. The Council objectives set out the aims for a four period with specific actions to be taken.
Understanding Diversity
The Equality and Human Rights Commission 
provide advice and guidance on the Equality Act. Their website provides a great facility for understanding the current legislation and its requirements.

The Councils aims to have a diverse workforce that represents the population of the Borough. The annual workforce profile, provides an overview of the people currently working at Fareham Borough Council.

The Council strives to ensure that services are accessible to everyone. To support this we will:
