Information for pensioners

If you or if you are part of a couple your partner has not reached pensionable age, please refer to Information for Working Age People. If there is any information that you cannot find, please let us know. From 15 May 2019, if you are a couple, both of you must have reached qualifying state pension age in order to claim pension credit or pension age Housing Benefit.
