Fareham is a telecommunications hub with high capacity infrastructure to underpin sustained business growth. The Cams Estate is home to a multi-provider POP (Point of Presence) enabling outstanding fibre optic connectivity to Telehouse and the London Carrier Ring.

The BT programme of upgrading its exchanges has provided superfast broadband:

Fareham exchange - fully enabled
Stubbington exchange - 2013 FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) upgrade to serve Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus

The Hampshire Broadband Programme External Hyperlink (opens in new window) will help around 115,000 properties, including approximately 20,000 households and business premises that currently have access to speeds below 2Mbps.
