Sheltered Housing Officer visit and support 5 days a week
There are two floors with 13 bedsits and 20 one bedroom flats, each flat has a bathroom with shower cubicle and a kitchen
A lift is available for use
On-site communal facilities include a lounge, an assisted bathroom, guest room and laundry room
Close to shops, public transport, Churches, Parish Hall and Day Centre
Social activities which include, regular coffee mornings, afternoon and evening bingo, occasional afternoon tea and lunch
Each flat is connected to an alarm system to call for assistance in an emergency 24 hours a day, there is also a door entry facility linked to a CCTV system
Assheton Court is able to receive cable television
There is a 'No Smoking' policy in place in all communal areas
No pets are allowed in this scheme
