Appointments
When you report a repair we will generally be able to offer you an appointment at a mutually convenient time so that you know when to expect a Repair person to arrive.
If, for any unforseen reason we are unable to keep the appointment, we will let you know and arrange an alternative appointment with you.
Unfortunately there are a small number of repairs where we are unable to offer you an appointment including:
- Repairs that are weather dependent, e.g. roofing repairs
- In a communal area
- External repairs
- Repairs carried out by a specialist contractor.
For those repairs we are unable to appoint we will:
- Advise you at the time you report your repair of a timescale for completion
- Advise you if your repair will be carried out by a specialist contractor and the name of the specialist contractor who will make contact with you.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know at your earliest convenience, with a minimum of 2 hours advance notice, where possible. This enables us to plan and provide a more efficient service for all our customers.
Our appointment system is based on offering you the following time slots for your convenience.
- Monday-Friday, all day appointment from 08:00am-4:00pm
- Morning appointment 08:00am-1:00pm
- Afternoon appointment between 12:00 noon- 4:00pm
- Outside school run appointment between 09:30am-2:45pm.
Whichever appointment is mutually agreed, please help us by making sure someone is at home at the agreed appointment time when the Repair person arrives to carry out your repair and be sure to ask and check their I.D.
