Press Release

Still time to have your say on improvements to Portchester Village Centre
It's not too late to tell us your ideas about how Portchester Village Centre could be made better.
We have created a Draft Regeneration Vision for Portchester Village Centre which sets out how we think the area could be improved in the future, highlighting 5 key areas:
- More free car parking
- Small redevelopment opportunities
- Improved visual appearance
- Events & activities
- Better shopping experience
You can find out more and tell us what you think at one of our consultation events:
- Monday 6 February, 2pm – 7pm at Portchester Community Centre
- Wednesday 8 February, 9am – 3pm at Portchester Market
- There will also be a display in the space outside Portchester health centre and library on most days which will give an overview of the vision.
Alternatively you can complete an online survey . Paper copies will be available from Portchester Library.
Councillor Keith Evans, Executive Member for Planning and Development at Fareham Borough Council, said: "We've had some really valuable contributions so far as we look to make Portchester Village Centre better. If they haven't done so already, I would encourage anyone who uses the Village Centre to have their say too and get involved with the consultation. Together we can make sure the area meets the changing needs of residents and visitors in the future"
