My amazing summer

The 'My Amazing Summer' guide published by Fareham Borough Council is now out. The guide gives details of events and activities taking place across the Borough for children and young people and their families.

There are many free activities listed throughout the guide including popular events such as Thumbs Up Thursday, National Play Day, Mini Play Morning, Play Rangers and more! Each event offers something different and includes arts and crafts, giant inflatables, soft play, den building, fun games and activities. The guide also gives details about a reading challenge that young people can get involved with over the summer holidays.

Executive Member for Leisure and Community, Cllr Sue Bell, said: "We had really great feedback about the Summer Guide last year so we have produced it again this year as a way of helping to keep children and families entertained with the variety of activities and events taking place throughout the holidays. There's something for everyone!"

The guide will be available at libraries and schools or it can be picked up from the Civic Offices.

It can also be downloaded online at www.fareham.gov.uk/summerguide.
