IFA2 CAT meeting
The Council will be holding a Community Action Team (CAT) meeting to discuss two planning applications that are to be submitted by the National Grid.
The applications include the detailed designs for the IFA2 converter station and a new area of public open space to be created around the converter station site.
The meeting will take place on Monday 24 July at Holy Rood Church in Stubbington from 7-8.30pm.
At the meeting, Planning Officers from Fareham Borough Council will give a presentation about the detailed design proposals in the planning applications as well as information on how people can comment on the applications and what matters can be taken into consideration. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
Chairman of the meeting, Councillor Chris Wood, said: "Attendees will be able to find out about the detailed applications and ask questions about them. I would encourage anyone with an interest to attend."
Whilst the applications have yet to be submitted to the Council, we are anticipating that we will receive them before the CAT meeting. Further publicity will take place once they are received.
