Press Release

19 June 2017

Access All Areas is back!

The popular Access All Areas scheme is back this summer and registration is now open!

Access All Areas provides free activities for 11-16 years olds that live in Fareham. The exciting line-up includes scuba diving, pool parties, fitness sessions, giant inflatables, driving school, sailing, go karts and more. Y-Services will also attend events with the Y-Bus offering fun games and activities.

To help young people get to and from the events, those registered will benefit from free bus travel on First buses when the valid pass is shown.

Chairman of Fareham's Community Safety Partnership, Cllr Trevor Cartwright, said: "This scheme helps beat the summer boredom and gives young people something to do in the holidays. There are lots of fun activities taking place across the Borough and means young people have somewhere to hang out with their friends in a fun and safe environment."

The activities will take place at various locations and times across the Borough from Thursday 27 July to Thursday 31 August.

All activities are free however some must be booked in advance. The driving school is only for 15-16 year olds only.

Young people must register online in advance. For more information and to register please visit www.fareham.gov.uk/aaa.

Once registered, a pass will be sent in the post. Please ensure this is brought to all events attended as it will act as the free bus pass to and from events and will prove to event organisers that the young person is registered.

If you have any questions about Access All Areas please contact the Leisure and Community Team on 01329 236100 or email leisure@fareham.gov.uk
