Getting to Fareham

Rail links

There are direct rail links to London from Fareham, via Eastleigh, and a direct service from Southampton Parkway (off the M27 motorway), which gets to London in just over an hour. A shuttle service runs from Southampton Parkway to London Waterloo every 20 minutes. An alternative route runs through Fareham via Gatwick Airport to London Victoria. There is also a direct route from Fareham to Waterloo. As Fareham is on the South Coast line, it has links to Brighton in the east and South Wales Salisbury and Bristol in the south west.

Fareham Railway Station

This is located at the western end of West Street, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. It is well-served by taxis and a number of bus routes run nearby. There are railway stations served by local trains at Portchester and Swanwick.
