Work place transport

Every year about 70 people are killed in transport-related accidents in workplaces. Most accidents involve people being hit or run over by moving vehicles, people falling from vehicles (usually part of the load) or people being injured when vehicles overturn. As cars and other vehicles are common on public roads and at workplaces, employers and employees often do not recognize that they can be very dangerous. They must be properly managed and included in any risk assessments.
