How to register interest in supplying the Council
The Council uses the South-East Business Portal (SEBP) as its preferred method of sharing information about forthcoming tender opportunities and existing contracts. The Portal covers the 74 councils of the South-East region and therefore offers suppliers the opportunity to connect with a wide range of potential customers.
The Portal offers suppliers the opportunity to:
- Register, free of charge, as a potential supplier for opportunities.
- Register against their category of expertise (categories use the ProClass system
).
- Receive an automated email alert of tender opportunities.
- Register against specific opportunities as they are advertised.
- Search the Contracts Store and view full contract details.
Registration on the Portal for a specific opportunity will ensure that your company is included in the Council's pre-qualification selection process. Registration via the Portal does not guarantee that you will be invited to tender.
Similarly e-mail notification of a new opportunity is a prompt for you to decide whether to register your interest or not for that tender. It does not automatically include your company in the process. If you are not registered, you could miss out on opportunities.
Forthcoming Opportunities
To view forthcoming and current tender opportunities please visit our pages on the South East Business Portal (SEBP).
- The Council ideally looks to use suppliers who are pre-qualified and fit to supply. The Council recognises several accreditation schemes for streamlining the tender process. Do not miss out on a tender opportunity, check the accreditation schemes that are recognised by the Council
- The Council will do its utmost to make you aware of any suitable opportunities, it cannot guarantee that every register of interest will be matched to every contract opportunity, due to the nature of the Council's decentralised procurement environment
Contracts Register
Fareham Borough Council's procurement activity covers a wide range of spend types across the works, goods and service sectors. Our expenditure is market tested regularly to ensure we achieve our goals in delivering best value for money for the total life of the supply.
You can find information relating to the Council's contracts with suppliers posted to the South-East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership Business Portal.
