Composting at home - composters and food digesters
Composting is an easy way to reduce the amount of waste in your bin. As well as taking a lot of waste, such as peelings, uncooked vegetables, tea bags, straw and pet bedding, a composter will make useful compost for your garden. Food waste digesters differ from standard composters in that they can take all waste food, including meat, fish, dairy products and leftover food from meals. The waste breaks down into the soil naturally.
