Recycling banks and household waste recycling centres

There are glass recycling banks around the Borough for all your bottles and jars. Glass cannot be put in your household recycling bin because shards of glass get into the other waste, particularly newspapers, making them unfit for recycling. We do not offer a kerbside glass collection service.  There are also banks for recycling all textiles and clothing, and a few banks for books, CDs and DVDs.
