Exemptions
Contact us by email: counciltax@fareham.gov.uk to make a claim for an exemption. We may require evidence of your circumstances.
If the exemption is due to your property being empty, we will arrange for one of our inspectors to visit your property. After that it will be visited again on a regular basis.
We will need to have your telephone number or email address to arrange a visit.
Please note that if your property is exempt or you have been granted a discount, you have a legal responsibility to inform the Council if your circumstances change.
The council will review discounts, disregards and exemptions on a regular basis to ensure they are still applicable.
