Do I need planning permission?

Not all works need planning permission. You can see planning permission guidance in visual and written form. 

If you wish to find out if you need planning permission, or building regulations consent, a paper application form is available .  Electronic applications can be submitted on the Planning Portal.

Submission of details required by a condition

When planning permission is granted it is often subject to conditions which mean you must submit further details to us for approval. This involves completion of an application form and payment of a fee.
